Eat Healthier Food for Healthy Eyesight



Keeping the eye sight healthier is very much essential for all of us. As many times we over stress our eyes by studying in dim light, spending too much time on computers, squinting at the small alphabets when we look at the net on our mobile phone displays or watching too much television.
 Our eye sights are as susceptible to ageing as the relax of our body, and lot can be done to protect the eyes in order to keep them healthy. The food we eat nourished not only the body but also helps to improve the eye sight in many ways like; The food we eat feeds not just our body but also advantages our sight in various ways: by battling tediousness, by avoiding muscle damage, by slowing down the development of cataract, prevent us for night blindness, avoid loss of vision and macular illness.

 According to the research the impotent vitamins and minerals which help to improve the eyes sight are Beta Carotene, Vitamin C, Zinc, Vitamin E and Omega 3 Fats and you can easily get these entire vitamin and minerals form fruits and vegetables.

Carrots are rich in beta- carotene which plays an important role in protecting the eyes by lowering the risk of cataracts and low version issues. Along with that spinach also plays the same role as the carrot as it is fully loaded with beta carotene, vitamin C, lutein and zeaxanthin. The research says that our body needs iron to transport oxygen from the lungs to all the cells in your body and in that vitamin K plays an essential role for normal blood clotting. Lutein which is an antioxidant that assists to prevent form atherosclerosis (the thickening of arteries) which causes the major risk for cardiovascular disease.

According to the research it is found that the people who consume more green leafy vegetables are free from developing the risk of macular degeneration that occurs with age. Spinach also contains iron, vitamin K and folate which are very low in calories. Thus it is not only beneficial for eyesight but also beneficial for weight loss. Thus start including both of these vegetable in your diet as beneficial for your eye sight.

 Not only Grandma but all most all doctors recommend to  include crunchy almonds in your diet as it contains vitamin A, vitamin E and monounsaturated fatty acids which is also found in olive oil. Along with this it is also a nutrient-dense and energy-dense. Therefore do not consume it in larger portions. The protein and healthy fats of almonds keep you satisfied so a small handful of almonds make for a great between meal snacks. Thus almonds are a great source for eye health as it helps to prevent form cancer and cataract.

Cherries are also included in the great eye food category as they are fully loaded with antioxidants which help to prevent form eye problems. It is a best food for avoiding those diseases which lead to blindness. It also contains bioflavonoids which help to strengthen the small blood vessel that helps to carry oxygen to the eye and brain. Along with this it is also loaded with calcium, iron, fiber, potassium and Vitamins A, B, C and E which is essential for health.

Another vegetable which is good for eye care is sweet potato. We mostly prefer this food for fasting days which is packed with beta-carotenes which is essential for eyesight. Along with this Broccoli which is known as a cousin of cauliflower is highly recommended for eye health. Broccoli contains vital nutrients which is minimizing the eye health problem. It helps by preventing muscular degeneration and loss of vision.

Do not forget Eggs. They are also an important source of Vitamin A, zinc, B12, Vitamin D, lutein, and cysteine which helps to protect the eyes from host of diseases.

 For the vegetarians the family of beans like kidney beans, lentils, and chick peas helps a lot.  They are great resources of the valuable vitamin zinc oxide which is exist in lot variety in meat and poultry. It is also found that deficiency in zinc leads to deterioration of macula in the retina. So include zinc and vitamin A in your diet in order keep your eyes healthy.

From all above drink lots of water to flush out all toxins forms our bodies. Along with this it also helps to prevent form the white of the eyes form turning yellow.
