Essential Do’s and Don’ts of Christmas Eating


During Christmas the true fact is we have too much food which is brought by our families and friends together. This food is tradition as well as glorious.  We all know that holiday’s recipe seem to keep many good memories of togetherness. But here the main problem is that   we eat too much food these days till   New Year enters which gives the sensation of bloated and frustrated which results in making impressive new year goals and objectives that are unattainable. Thus to avoid this repetitious roller coaster following are some do’s and don’ts that can help you to enjoy what you eat and still make you comfortable without making you to loosen your belts.

The Do':
1. Eat! But maintain a balance, for instant If you are going for a function in evening and you know that there are lot of food that you can enjoy, so in such case eat in small meals and snacks during day.
2.  In   holiday season we mostly avoid having water; therefore it is advised to keep a glass of water close by you while having food, as water fills you up and   fuel your body with needed benefits.
3. Help   in the preparing of the function as this will help you to be busy and also help your body to burn the calories.
4. Along with that it is also essential for you to keep eye on what you have eaten as it puts you in control of what you are eating and that is empowering.
5. Don’t forget to exercise as it is said that exercising an hour before eating will help you by increasing your chance of listening to what your body needs without over eating.
6. Always listen to your body system. If you feel full then stop eating. Another best solution is if you want to stop eating and you are feeling full then have a chew gum or clean your teeth it will help a lot to stop continue eating.
7. Besides this you can also do is focus on chatting rather than eating.

The Don'ts
1. Avoid taking complete servings.  Of course there will be numerous of deserts available and you also want to taste several, so in this case you can have but take it in several small portions.
2. Do not eat right before going to bed, as you body will burn very few calories while sleeping.
3. Avoid staying around the food. Take your portion of food and move away from food.
4. Keep watch on your weight.
5. Avoid having snacks all the day.
6. Make sure you are having a little of each food group.
7. Feel free to decline food which is offered to you if you are full.
